Surrey Contraception Telephone Appointment
Who is this for?
Patients aged 18 and over who would like to:
- Discuss contraception options
- Request a repeat of the combined contraceptive pill
- Request the progestogen-only pill (POP)
- Have a pre-coil fit discussion
Before Your Telephone Appointment
Please be ready and prepared:
- Find a quiet, private space
- Be available 20 minutes before and after your appointment time
- The call will last about 20 minutes
- Know the first day of your last period
- Have a note of:
- Height (m)
- Weight (kg)
- Blood pressure (measured in the last month)
If medication is prescribed, it will be posted to you and a signature may be required.
You can use self-service machines to check your height, weight and blood pressure. By walking in between 9am to 3pm at the following clinics: Buryfields (Guildford), Earnsdale (Redhill), Woking. Many GP surgeries and pharmacies also have self-check machines available.
